Saturday 19th of May, 2018, at St. George’s Chapel, Prince Harry wed Meghan Markle. There was approximately 600 guests within the chapel, all of which were dressed to impress.
The dress code, as addressed in the wedding invitations is “uniforms, morning suit or lounge suit, day dress and hat”. A morning suit is formal and traditional for men at weddings, with lounge suits being a more simple suit with a shirt and tie. Similarly, women are expected to dress appropriately with ‘day dresses’ being similar formality to a lounge suit, knee length, smart and a matching hat.
Of course with many of Meghan’s invitees being from America and part of Hollywood, this is highly open for interpretation. But we can expect an array of colourful hats and fascinators with dresses to match; as in the tradition of royal weddings.
Take a look at some of the guests’ outfits.

Meghan Markle’s Bridesmaids
Overall, I think everyone dressed to impress. Many were classy with their hats and fascinators matching their dresses. My best dressed would have to go to Amal Clooney or Janina Garankar with Priyanka Chopra following close behind.
