The Wedding of the Year: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle - The Dress, The Dress, The Dress and the 2nd Dress
The dress of the year, as impatiently awaited by thousands has now been revealed.
Meghan Markle looked stunning as she entered St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle to marry her Prince. The dress was designed by Clare Weight Keller; an english fashion designers currently the Artistic Director of the french fashion house Givenchy.
The simple dress has a boat-shaped neckline with long sleeves. It is fitted at the top with a modified A-line shape. During the lead up to the wedding, there was much speculation on what Meghan’s dress would look like but the simple yet elegant gown that was presented was unique as apposed to other royal wedding gowns.
Meghan looked stunning, she wore the Queen Mary Diamond Bandeau along with a vail that’s train flowed behind her. It had each of the commonwealth countries’ floral emblems embellished along the edges.
She had a simple, effortless beauty as she walked the aisle with Prince Charles. And Prince Harry whispered ‘You look amazing’ as she she approached the altar.
The dress was not what I was expecting, though she looked the part as she and Harry were married and became the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
After the first, more formal dress was simple and elegant, Meghan Markle (The Duchess of Sussex) stepped out wearing a stunning Stella McCartney bespoke gown that was glamorous.
The halter neck, floor skimming gown was gorgeously paired with her "something blue" and something borrowed; a lovely square, gemstone ring borrowed from Princess Diana. She also wore Aquazzura heels, the soles painted blue, and Cartier white gold diamond drop earrings. She was glamorous as her and Harry drove off.
